Wendi has been a professional writer since age 17 when she was stunned that someone offered to pay her to write a weekly column for her hometown newspaper, The Saugus (Mass.) Advertiser. Nearly a quarter century and hundreds of obituaries later, she now offers a broad knowledge of the press and extensive experience in all aspects of public, media and community relations.
Prior to founding Patella Ink Creative Communications in 2002, Wendi served as a deputy press secretary to Governor Christine Todd Whitman. She also spent several years as a spokeswoman for the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services, a position in which she honed her skills at reacting quickly under pressure in crisis communications situations.
Wendi serves on the Cranbury Township Board of Education. In her spare time, Wendi imagines herself gardening organically and reading long novels on her front porch.
